His name was Ted Rathbun and he taught Anthropology and Osteology. He taught us how to find, uncover,collect and reassemble the skeletons of humans long dead at archeological sites. He was always funny. He was always kind. He was always a gentleman. He adored his wife Babette and his son Joel. He respected ancient cultures and treated prehistoric man with an awe that he conveyed to everyone he met. Later in life, he turned his enormous talent to giving faces back to unidentified persons found dead by the police by forensic sculpture. He told me things 40 years ago that made it possible to safeguard the lives of 2 persons l know personally. He led a useful life and was wonderful to know.
