Old Spanish Saying

“Take what you want and pay for it,” says God. This is an old Spanish saying. And I thought Americans were tough.Have your career, have your family, your friends, your habits, vices, revenge, but you pay for it. That means you don’t make your family, friends or coworkers pay for it. Pay for it yourself. You want to paint or sculpt something revolutionary or revolting? Go for it, but pay for it. Pay for all of it. You want to become a celebrity and are willing to commit a crime to reach those giddy heights? Be the celeb, but pay. If you can’t pay the total price, you might be living well above your means.
