If you’ve never painted Georgia, I suggest you give it a whirl. Whether you favor romantic landscapes or eclectic tight urban scenes, Georgia has more than enough to offer. There are whole towns built in Victorian style or Art Deco style and of course, there are antebellum mansions that still dazzle after all these years. The people are a lot of fun and have a generous and giving nature. Must be all that really sweet tea. I’ll have to order mine half and half. For all non-Southerners that go into diabetic shock at their first sip of Southern sweet tea, that’s how you order it. Tell them half and half. They’ll know what you want.
I’ve never dragged my sister on a painting jaunt, but she’s pretty flexible. All she needs is her Kindle and an ice tea. We’ll probably cool off at the lake and I can struggle again with painting still water with the pebbly bottom showing. Joy.
