There is a rule I live by. What someone tells you may or may not be true, but what they don’t tell you is always true. Everyone wants to know what really happened to Caylee Anthony. Thanks to some very clever lawyers, no one will ever know. Everyone wants to know why she’s dead. No one will ever know. Everyone wants to know what her mother will say and do next. Why? Anything she says, does or writes will forever be viewed as self-serving and extremely suspect.
What you can know is yourself. The views you hold on the case and the verdict tell more about yourself than about Casey Anthony. People who have been victims of crime have taken a very hard line against the jury finding. People who have committed crimes give out very forgiving and broad-minded opinions about the verdict. Remember this before you open your big mouth. People’s B.S. meters are full and you may notice people looking at you very differently after you’ve given your take on the case.
